Dr. Richard A. CraigDDS - Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine
Dr. Richard Craig is the founder of Midwest Dental Sleep Center. He is a general dentist and graduate of the University of Illinois School of Dentistry. He also completed a internship in Hospital Dentistry at University of Chicago. Dr. Craig has been practicing dentistry for 34 yrs. Dr. Craig is a member of American Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine & American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He has studied under the world’s leading experts in Dental Sleep Medicine. He invented and holds patents on several infection control products. Dr. Craig has written multiple articles on infection control. He has been a consultant for OSHA, CDC, FDA and the United States Military. In addition, Dr. Craig has appeared on several local, national and international television and radio programs to speak about his work on infection control.
Dr. Katherine PhillipsDDS - Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine
Dr. Katherine Phillips is a general dentist and graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School in Detroit, MI. Dr. Phillips’ undergraduate education was completed at the University of Michigan, where she was an Angell Scholar. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Illinois State Dental Society, American Dental Association and Chicago Dental Society. Her interest in Sleep Apnea was motivated by her close relationship with someone who struggled with Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome and related heart failure. She states, “I am interested in the use of dental treatments for systemic issues, like Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Too many people remain undiagnosed and untreated for their Sleep Apnea, and it unfortunately can be devastating to both their health and relationships.” Dr. Phillips joined Midwest Dental Sleep Center in December 2008.
Dr. James HoggDDS - Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine
Dr. James Hogg is a general dentist and graduate of the University of Illinois Dental School. He has a long time relationship with the south side of Chicago. He graduated in 1973 from Marist High School and grew up in Oak Lawn. Dr. Hogg believes his greatest attribute is the ability to communicate directly and honestly with each of his patients. He has many long-term patients that enjoy his sense of humor and ability to put them at ease. He was featured several times on the "Community in Focus" television show, as well as FOX TV's "American Health Front".
He has also participated for many years in the Donated Dental Service Program that has helped hundreds of disadvantaged people in the Chicagoland area. He is a member of the Illinois Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and United Dental Resources.
Dr. Charles LockhartDDS, Master of the Academy of General Dentistry
Dr. Lockhart has been treating the Chicago, IL area for over 35 years.
